Early Voting has started with various time and place options including those on Election Day on November 8

Early voting has begun for the Nov. 8 General Election in Greene County giving registered voters several opportunities to cast their ballots early. 

From now until Nov. 4 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Nov. 7 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., early voting is taking place at the Voter Registration Office located in the Greene County Courthouse. 

Early voting is also taking place Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Greene County Courthouse and Center Township Fire Department as well as on Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Greene County Courthouse and the Roy Clark Community Building. 

On Election Day — Nov. 8 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. — registered voters in Greene County can vote at any of the county’s 10 voting centers.

Greene County voting centers include:

  • Greene County Courthouse

  • Center Township Fire Department

  • Eastern Fire Department

  • Greene County Community Event Center

  • Jackson Township Fire Department

  • Jasonville Fire Department

  • Roy Clark Community Building

  • Lyons Community Building

  • Taylor Township Fire Department

  • Worthington Town Hall

Those wishing to request an absentee ballot can do so until Oct. 27 by contacting the Greene County Voter Registration Office at 812-384-2015. An application for the absentee ballot will be sent and when it’s returned, the ballot will be mailed.
