Beginning on or around Monday, October 20, crews will close State Road 45/58 near Owensburg. This closure will occur near County Road South 625 E. The official detour for this project is U.S. 231 to I-69 to State Road 45. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure. Richard Scott Lawson, also known as "Red", passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at his home in rural Bloomfield, near Worthington. He was born in Indianapolis on May 2, 1965, the son of Richard K. and Billie (Reed) Lawson.
