A Linton woman accused of hitting an older woman, who uses a wheelchair and a walker, is due in court in the morning to face charges of battery and resisting law enforcement.

Vigo County Sheriff John Plasse reported that VCSD deputies responded at 9:45 a.m. this morning, Thursday, May 27, to 7755 Carlisle Street in southern Vigo County on a death investigation.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered a 72-year-old female, Gayle Wilson, deceased in the home. This death is being investigated as a homicide investigation at this time.
“The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help,” said Plasse. “We are looking for a 2017 silver Subaru Outback, plate number 830TKR.”
Plasse said a 40-year-old male named Michael Wilson is also wanted for questioning on this case.
