She was born April 26, 1930 in Peoria, IL to John Guth and Hannah (Madlinger) Guth.
Wilma married Vernon K. Tracy on October 12, 1950. He passed away on October 29, 2008.
Survivors include her children, Debra Thompson (Robert) of Fairbanks, IN, Michael Tracy (Dawn) of Jasonville, IN, Becky Aaron (Anton) of Reelsville, IN, Mark Tracy (Rhonda) of West Cheshter, OH, Beth Ann Scharff (Fred) of Sullivan, IN; grandchildren, Lori Pohlman (Brian), Cherri Nedlose (Rodney), Travis Thompson (Bonnie), David Tracy, Jesse Aaron (Elvira), Mark Aaron, Janette Maupin (Brandon), Sarah Priester, Sarah Loredo (Jordan), grandson in-law, Carl Melchert; great-grandchildren – 18; great-great-grandchildren – 11.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; daughter in-law, Vicki Tracy; granddaughter, Angie Melchert.
Wilma graduated from Farmington High School in Farmington, IL. She worked at Gossards in Jasonville and at Glenburn Home with resident activities. Wilma was a waitress at various restaurants in Jasonville and Florida. She loved to paint and enjoyed crocheting, was a very good cook and even better baker. Wilma enjoyed playing bingo and cards and playing the piano.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 1 to 3 P.M. Friday, November 24, 2023 at the Funeral Home.Services are immediately following at 3 P.M. with her grandson Pastor Jesse Aaron officiating.
Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Jasonville, IN.
