Michelle Bovenschen

Michelle Bovenschen, age 48, of Jasonville, passed away peacefully at 11:14 pm on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Serenity Springs Senior Living of Jasonville. She was born in Linton, IN on December 24, 1976, the daughter of Harold "Bud" & Karen (Ryser) Bovenschen.

She was a 1994 graduate of Linton Stockton High School. Over the years, she worked at Wendy's, McDonald's and her last place of employment was at the Workshop in Lyons. She was a devout member of the Olive Branch Baptist Church and enjoyed doing crafts, playing bingo, watching cooking shows and singing. She absolutely loved singing in the choir at church.

Michelle is survived by her loving father, Harold "Bud" Bovenschen of Linton; sister, Amelia (Nathan) Cornoyer; many aunts and uncles as well as several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Bovenschen; step-mothers, Jo'e Falwell Bovenschen and Tina Eikelman Bovenschen; infant brother, Matthew Ray Bovenschen; paternal grandparents, Arthur & Pauline Bovenschen as well as maternal grandparents, Eric & Betty Ryser.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 with Brother Jeff Ryser officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 am until the time of service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Olive Branch Baptist Church through the funeral home.
