Clarence M. Burton, age 79, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 7:07 AM on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born in Hillham, Indiana on April 15, 1944, the son of Clifford C. and Anna Marie (Freyberger) Burton.

Clarence enjoyed racing, working on cars, watching sports, yard selling, going out to eat, and was a Purdue fan.

He is survived by his daughter, Christina Marie Harreld of Gosport; his sister, Sheila K. McIntosh of Lyons; and a brother, Clifford (Janie) Burton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sandra Burton; and three brothers, John Malley, Patrick Malley, and Charles Young.

Arrangements are in care of Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington of Walton Funeral Service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Linton or other Police Department for their K-9 units, through the funeral home.
