New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, Aug 9, 2023:

Aug. 8, 12:07 AM, Roy Matthew Keith Arthur, 42, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16 years of age. No bond was allowed. 

Aug. 8, 11:39 PM, Jessica Ann Rogers, 31, Bloomfield, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating a vehicle while intoxicated-endangerment, operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in the body, and possession of a controlled substance-marijuana/hash/oil/hashish/salvia. Her bond was set at $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Michael Stanley was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
