Carol Joy (Powers) Russell, loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother & Great Great Grandmother passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at her home. She was 89. Carol was a wonderful, unselfish, loving, beautiful, strong Christian Woman. The Lord and her family were always top priority and she instilled these values in her children & grandchildren. Carol is now enjoying the peace & tranquility of being with Jesus, her family & friends who have gone before her. Carol was born to Clarence & Fern (Bentley) Powers in Indianapolis Indiana on August 3, 1936.
Rev. Hurshel Delmer Hale, 94, of Dugger, Indiana, went to Heaven with loved ones by his side, on Monday, June 1, 2026, at Sullivan County Community Hospital. He was born at home, located way back in the Appalachian Mountains near Mt. Vernon, Kentucky to James and Effie (Hale) Hale. When Hurshel was around 14 years old, his family moved to Lebanon, Indiana when his father, searching for a better life, got a job as a machinist. Hurshel married Patricia Ann (Kincaid) Hale on May 23, 1952. After her passing, he married Paula Jane (Ulrich) Hale on July 2, 2017.
Wayne L. Goodman, 74, of Dugger, IN passed away Saturday, May 30, 2026 at his residence. He was born in Sullivan , IN. August 8, 1951 the son of Jesse Goodman and Helen Lehman Goodman.
Larry Keith Poselwait, 68, of Linton passed away Thursday May 28, 2026 at his residence. Born August 4, 1957 in Otwell, Indiana the son of Claude and Mary (Say) Poselwait.
Donna Mae (Grisham) Betts, 88, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2026 in at her home.
Patricia J. Orman, age 97, of Jasonville, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Linton, IN on March 2, 1929, the daughter of James Patrick & Mary Eileen (Buckner) Linton.
Marion W. "Junior" Blanton, Jr., 93, passed away peacefully at his home in rural Worthington on Memorial Day, Monday morning, May 25, 2026, surrounded by the family he cherished so deeply.
Gertrude L. Weaver, 95, of Linton, Indiana, went to Heaven with family by her side, on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Glenburn Home in Linton. She was born on April 26, 1931, in Westphalia, Indiana to Ernest William Carl and Frieda Johanna (Prior) Volle. Gertrude was wedded in marriage to Joseph Marczak on July 21, 1955, and from that marriage they had three children. Later in life she married Larry L. Weaver on February 26, 1998.
David L. "Dave" Rogerson, 77, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 8:21 A.M. Friday, May 15, 2026 in Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton, IN.
Jeffrey William “Jeff” Ritter, 63, passed away in his home in Martinsville. He was born Friday, November 16, 1962 to the late William Raymond and Wilma “Billie Pat” (Dilley) Ritter in Bloomfield, Indiana.
