Bloomfield student awarded Indiana Sheriffs’ Association scholarship
/Bloomfield High School student Chase Wiles has been awarded a scholarship from the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association, according to a news release from the Greene County Sheriff’s Department.
Greene County Sheriff George Dallaire and Chief Deputy Terry Wade presented the scholarship to Wiles on May 7.
Wiles plans to attend Trine University following graduation. He has expressed an interest in pursuing a career in law enforcement, with a focus on crime scene investigations.
The Indiana Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship Fund was established to provide financial assistance to qualified students who are committed to continuing their education and pursuing careers in the law enforcement field.
Officials congratulated Wiles on the achievement and wished him success in his future endeavors.
