Jasonville Water Plant transitions to new filtration system

The Jasonville Water Plant has recently begun operating a new filtration system as part of ongoing improvements to the city’s water treatment process. During this transition, chlorine levels must temporarily be maintained at a higher level to ensure proper treatment. As a result, some customers may notice a brown discoloration in their water. Officials emphasize that the water is tested daily and remains safe for use and consumption.
