Feb. 15 is School Resource Officer Appreciation Day

National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day, observed annually on Feb. 15, recognizes the dedicated law enforcement officers who serve in schools and work every day to keep students, staff, and communities safe.

GreeneStreets would like to extend sincere thanks to the School Resource Officers serving Greene County. These officers do far more than provide security—they build relationships with students, serve as mentors and educators, respond to emergencies, and work closely with school administrators to create safe, supportive learning environments.

Greene County School Resource Officers include:

  • Bloomfield School Corporation: Marvin Holt, JR Blazier, and Michael Gregg

  • Eastern Greene School Corporation: Michael Coy

  • Linton-Stockton School Corporation: Josh Goodman and Bobby Just

  • Metropolitan School District of Shakamak: Brian Pilant

  • White River Valley School Corporation: Bobby Pierce, James O'Malley, and Brittany Ingram

Their presence in local schools makes a lasting difference, and GreeneStreets is grateful for their service, professionalism, and commitment to protecting its students.
