The Lyons Water Department has issued an immediate boil water order for all customers due to ongoing issues that may result in low or no water pressure throughout the town.

A Travel Advisory has been issued by the Greene County Board of Commissioners in response to a Winter Weather Advisory from the National Weather Service, which forecasts several inches of snow across the county. The advisory will take effect at 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025, and will remain in place until 12 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2025. During this period, routine travel and certain activities may be restricted due to potentially hazardous road conditions. Officials urge residents to use caution and limit travel when possible.
