ISP Bloomington A.C.E.S. yearly recap reveals impressive effort to fight drug and other crimes

Bloomington, Ind. - With the new year in full swing, the Indiana State Police Bloomington District A.C.E.S (Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Section) reviewed their efforts in 2021. The team which was started at the end of 2016 by Sgt. Greg Day patrols all seven counties (including Greene County) in the district and consists of Senior Trooper Allen Deel, Senior Trooper Richard Klun and K9 Loki, Trooper Caleb Garvin, Trooper Chance Humphrey, Trooper Ian Portteus and K9 Zeus and Trooper Matt Hatchett and K9 Axe.

The Bloomington District A.C.E.S. (Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Section) of the Indiana State Police had a very productive and demanding 2018. The A.C.E.S. are a group of nine troopers and one sergeant assigned to the Bloomington District (Brown, Greene, Lawrence, Monroe, Morgan, and Owen Counties) who conduct all of the regular duties of an Indiana State Trooper, but focus heavily on the detection of criminal activity and the apprehension of suspects involved in illegal activity….
