Brenda M. (Minella) Fisher

Brenda M. (Minella) Fisher, 81, of Martinsville, Indiana, passed away with family by her side on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at IU West Hospital in Avon, Indiana. She was born in Linton, Indiana on January 10, 1941, to Frank and Ruby (Wilkinson) Minella.

Brenda married the love of her life, Gary L. Fisher on June 15, 1962, celebrating over 60 years together.

In her early years, Brenda worked at the Cine’ movie theater and later was employed as a switchboard operator in Linton before becoming an office manager with State Farm Insurance. Brenda enjoyed spending time with her family, scrapbooking with friends and jigsaw puzzles. She was a graduate of Linton Stockton-High School class of 1959 and was instrumental in facilitating their class reunions.

Family left to cherish her memory include daughter, Toni (Paul) Ford of Martinsville, IN; sons, Todd (Wendy Morgan) Fisher of FL and Terry (Wendy) Fisher of PA; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister Raeann Minella of Indianapolis; brothers, Frank and Johnny Minella of NM; sister-in-law, Judy Lohr of Switz City and Debbie (Dan) Sligar of Dugger also survive.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 7, 2022, at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Pastor Trey Faull officiating. Brenda will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Kids First Trust Fund, c/o DCS Prevention Team, 302 W. Washington, Street, Suite E306, MS 47, Indianapolis, IN 46204. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
