Ricki Lee Bays

Ricki Lee Bays, 74, of Bloomfield, Indiana, passed away Wednesday morning, September 28th in Greenwood, Indiana. She was born December 4, 1947, in Greene County, the daughter of Dennie C. and Naomi Corwin Bays.

Ricki retired from Crane, where she worked for over 20 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, and spending time with family and friends. She was always ready for an adventure, whether it was a trip to Florida, or a quick trip to the store. Everything, and everywhere she went she made an adventure. She loved life, and enjoyed her life to the fullest.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Oliver, her brother, Dennis Bays, and his wife, Caroline Bays, all of Bloomfield. Granddaughters, Megan Badger, of St. Louis, Missouri, Sarah Badger, and Jordan Badger both of Princeton, Indiana, and two great granddaughters Emberlynn and Penelope; nephew, Matthew Bays and his wife, Rebekah Bays and their two children, Hudson and Hazel all of Bloomfield. She also has many cousins that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, October 8 from 1-3 p.m. A celebration of life will follow at 3:00 P.M. Burial will be at Sylvania Cemetery.
