New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, July 29, 2024:

July 26, 10:50 a.m., Adam Theren Caddell, 61, Jasonville, was arrested on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a hypodermic syringe or needle, and possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia. No bond was allowed. 

July 27, 10:06 a.m., Sharon Allyson Wiley, 60, homeless, was arrested on a preliminary charge of criminal trespass. Her bond was set at $500 surety with 10% cash allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
