Jane E. Slover, age 83, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 4:07 am on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Glenburn Home in Linton. She was born in Sullivan, IN on October 1, 1941, the daughter of William Edward &Evelyn L. (Jeffers) Slover.

She worked through Four Rivers and cleaned offices and also worked at Sullivan at SCARC Industries. She was active with Linton Head Start as a secret angel for them and was a member of the Linton First Baptist Church.

Jane is survived by her brothers, Brent (Cheri) Slover of Linton, Phil (Inair) Slover of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; twin brother, Jim (Annetta) Slover of Brownsburg; beloved great niece who helped to take care of her, Savanna Neal as well as several other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Janice Slover and niece, Carroll Neal-Horne.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Saturday, December 21, 2024 with Jeff Fulk officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Greene County Humane Society through the funeral home.
