Betty Sherman, age 79, of Jasonville, passed away peacefully at 9:38 am on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Glenburn Home in Linton surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bloomfield, IN on August 27, 1945, the daughter of Homer & Lena (Flynn) Pilk.

She was such a wonderful homemaker who loved taking care of her family, tending to her flowers, cooking and baking. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Willard L. Sherman of Jasonville; children, Ronnie Sherman of Jasonville, Willard R. Sherman of Jasonville, William Sherman of Jasonville, James Sherman of Jasonville, Cindy (Billy) Pitcher of Linton, Jay Sherman of Linton and John (Mylee) Sherman of Linton as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Elsie Smith and Shirley Hart.

Memorial service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at a later date.
