New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, Dec. 20, 2024:

Dec. 19, 2:12 p.m., Cody Allen Williams, 29, Danville, was arrested on a warrant for theft with an unrelated prior conviction for theft or conversion, providing an alcoholic beverage to a minor, confinement, intimidation, battery with bodily injury, sexual battery, and invasion of privacy. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Zach Mead was the arresting officer. 

Dec. 19, 6:33 p.m., Tara Kaye Helton, 53, Jasonville, was arrested on a warrant for battery with bodily injury and criminal mischief. Her bond was set at $1,500 surety with 10% cash allowed. She was released after posting $150. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Robert Just was the arresting officer.
