Robert "Rob" Dean Jackson, age 67, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 8:14 am on Friday, November 29, 2024, surrounded by his loving family and beloved dog Peyton. He was born in Linton, IN on May 14, 1957, the son of Donald & Norma (Gadberry) Jackson.

He was a 1976 graduate of Shakamak High School. He served in the United States Air Force after high school for several years then served in the United States Army Reserve. He was a member of the American Legion Post #22 and Linton VFW Post #7118. He was also a member of Bethel Baptist Church and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Rob is survived by his brother, Derrick (Becky) Jackson of Linton; nieces and nephews, Brittany (Chance) Kelley, Jeremy (Lindsey) Slater, Travis Creech, Alishia Jackson, Ericka Jackson, Jennifer (Floyd) Crysell and Brandon Crysell; several great nieces and nephews as well as several cousins..

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Rita Crysell and Debbie Jackson.

A memorial service date and times will be posted at a later date.
