New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, Nov. 6, 2023:

Nov. 4, 3:47 AM, Brandy Jean Wilkes, 44, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/saliva, possession of methamphetamine, obstruction of justice, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in body, operating a vehicle while intoxicated – endangerment. No bond was allowed. 

Nov. 4, 9:33 PM, Kenneth Abraham Calvert, 40, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant for refusal to aid an officer. On that charge, his bond was set at $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. On that charge, no bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Jordan Allor was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
