New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, Jan. 3, 2025:

Jan. 5, 6:08 a.m., Quintino Junior Nunes Rojas, 24, Orlando, Fla., was arrested on a preliminary charge of reckless driving. He was held on a surety-only bond. Indiana State Police Trooper Richard Klun was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
