New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, Oct. 27, 2023:

Oct. 26, 2:39 PM, Evan Cole Vanbibber, 37, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant for non-support of dependant/child. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Devan Goad was the arresting officer. 

Oct. 26, 5:15 PM, J0shua Michael Branson, 34, Dugger, was arrested on a warrant for invasion of privacy. No bond was allowed. 

Oct. 26, 9:21 PM, Maci Danielle Coleman, 29, Jasonville, was arrested on a warrant for theft. Her bond was set at $1,000. She was released after posting $100. Linton Police Department Officer Alan Jackson was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
