New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, June 16, 2023:

June 15, 9:00 PM, Joshua David Hollifield, 39, Jasonville, was arrested on a preliminary charge of possession of methamphetamine. No bond was allowed. Linton Police Department Officer Janzen Franklin was the arresting officer. 

June 15, 9:31 PM, Michelle Renee Field, 48, Jasonville, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance. No bond was allowed. Linton Police Department Officer Janzen Franklin was the arresting officer. 

June 16, 12:27 AM, Sarah Nicole Roseberry, 32, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of disorderly conduct. Her bond was set at $500 surety with 10% cash allowed. She was released after posting $50. Linton Police Department Officer Bobby Pierce was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
