Jerry Lee Hodges, 79, of Worthington passed away Monday April 7, 2025 at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.

Born August 24, 1945 in Bloomington, Indiana the son of Walter W. and Delphia (Taylor) Hodges.

Jerry was the owner and operator of JL Disposal; he was a writer and a Ordained Preacher.

Surviving relatives include his brother, Michael (Bobbi) Hodges, special friend Cathy Hodges (Mike Thomas), daughter by choice, Audrey (Kris) Ingle, six grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Elizabeth Hodges, brother, David Hodges, sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Fred Fender, and one great grandson.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 15, 2025 from 11 A.M. until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Nathan Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.

The family ask any memorial donations in Jerry’s name be given to Jenkins Funeral Home.
