New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, June 15, 2023:

June 14, 3:34 AM, Kenneth Matthew Adams, 36, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of criminal trespass. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $100. Linton Police Department Officer Alan Jackson was the arresting officer. 

June 14, 2:10 PM, Stephanie Rayleen Myers, 26, Loogootee, was arrested on a preliminary charge of battery resulting in bodily injury.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
