Martin W. Baysinger, 60, of Linton, IN passed away at 9:13 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2025 at his home in Linton, IN.

He was born April 22, 1964 in Terre Haute, IN to Donald Baysinger and Edith (Ferry) Baysinger.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen (Powell) Baysinger of Linton, IN who he married on February 5, 2015; children, Seth Baysinger (Kelie) of Columbus, OH, Levi Baysinger (Belinda) of Bloomfield, IN, Jake Baysinger of Terre Haute, IN, Ivan Baysinger of Linton, IN; grandchildren, Eloise, Grace, Ari, Arwen, Arbor-Rose Hobbs-Baysinger; sisters, Laurie Prindiville (Kevin) of Clay City, IN, Naidona Ott (Brian) of Vermont.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Melissa “Missy” Swaby, 2-infant brothers, Donald Ray Baysinger Jr., Jeffrey Baysinger.

Martin graduated from Blessed Hope Baptist Church School. He worked as a millwright through Local# 1076 in Evansville, IN. Martin loved being outdoors and working with his hands, he tinkered with everything from cars to lawn mowers. He enjoyed riding his side by side, hunting rocks, arrow heads and geneology. Martin loved his family and spending time with them.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. In honoring Martin’s wishes, cremation was chosen with a Celebration of Life to be held 3 P.M. Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Heritage Baptist Church, 543 Beech Church Road, Coal City, IN 47427.
