Ralph Cleveland Kirk, 86, of Linton, Indiana, passed from this life, with his family by his side, on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. He was born on March 11, 1938 in Sullivan County, Indiana to Charles Wesley and Beulah Isabella (Goodman) Kirk. Ralph married the love of his life, Linda Jane (Walton) Kirk on March 15, 1957.

Ralph was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge. He owned and operated Kirk’s Shell Service in the early 70’s and then worked in Customer Service at NAPA for many years. Ralph loved to bowl, do woodworking and was an avid gardener. He was proud that he had never owned a new lawn mower or car.

Family left to cherish the memories of Ralph include: his three daughters, Karen (Bill) Wilkes of Linton, Sharon F. (Rick) Engle of Brunswick, OH and Jody L. (Nancy W.) Kirk of Dora, AL; grandchild, Christopher (Syra) Engle of Moose Lake, MN; bonus grandchildren, Clint (Brandy) Wilkes of Linton, Rich (Dyan) Wilkes of Linton, Brahm (Eryn) Wolanin of Bloomington and Holly (Mike) Lambert of Fishers, IN; numerous bonus great-grandchildren and uncle, Earl (Carol) Kirk of Fairbanks, IN.

Ralph was preceded in death by; his parents; his wife, Linda Kirk; brother, James Odell Kirk; sisters, Bertha Richardson-Hawkins and Alice Faye Marshall.

Funeral services to honor the life of Ralph will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton. Ralph will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Greene County Humane Society Building Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
