Dennis Eugene Beaudry

Dennis Eugene Beaudry, 70, of Linton, IN went to be with his Lord and Savior at 2:25 P.M. Friday, April 12, 2024 in his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born August 2, 1953 in New Castle, IN to Litton Beaudry and Ruby (Stephens) Dockter.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Rebecca Sue Beaudry of Linton, IN who he married on April 4, 1987; children, Misty Beaudry-Zobel (Greg) of New Castle, IN, Josh Beaudry (Jessica) of Pendleton, IN, Aaron Beaudry (Monica) of Shelbyville, IN, Ethan Beaudry (Carrie) of New Castle, IN, Lisa Swink (Aaron) of Selma, IN, Holly Gorby (Richie) of Gilmour, IN, Jerrie Thuis of Linton, IN, Jonathon Beaudry of Farmersburg, IN; mother, Ruby Dockter of New Castle, IN; grandchildren, Gracen Beaudry, McKenna Beaudry-Geeding, Jackson Beaudry, Gracie Beaudry, Triston Beaudry, Zechariah Denney, Gunner Beaudry, Ryder Beaudry, Noah Swink, Alyssa Swink, Mercedes Weaver, Lillian Hiatt, Nicolas Hiatt, Lukas Beaudry, Taylor Gregory, Aliyah Thuis, Taryn Thuis; great-grandchild, Adeline; siblings, Dawn French of New Castle, IN, Lynn Marsh (Larry) of Madison, IN, Charles Beaudry (Ho) of New Castle, IN.

He was preceded in death by his father, sisters, Susan Beaudry, Sarah Beaudry; brother, Robert Beaudry.

Dennis worked at the Worthington Packing Company as a loin trimmer for several years, he also worked at the New Castle State Hospital for many years. He worked for the railroad for a short time. Dennis was known for his sense of humor and being a prankster. His sense of humor was one of the many attributes that endeared him to those that knew him. You always knew he was good for a laugh.

His love for his family was unmatched. He never shied away from telling those he loved just how much  and what they meant to him. Between all the jokes, his love shown through. You always felt his love even if he was giving you a hard time. He accepted you just as you are.

Dennis had a passion for the outdoors. He was the “Great Outdoorsman”. He loved spending time fishing, hunting, and anything to do with the outdoors.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. In keeping with Dennis’s wishes cremation is scheduled. A Celebration of life is scheduled from Noon to 2 P.M. Saturday, April 27, 2024 with the location to be announced soon.
