New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, July 24, 2024:

July 23, 10:35 p.m., William Nickles Hutcherson, 59, Bloomfield, was arrested on a preliminary charge of driving while suspended with a prior suspension within 10 years. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Jordan Allor was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
