New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, July 25, 2024:

July 24, 12:47 p.m., Kyle Mitchell Maggard, 32, Springville, was arrested on a warrant for possession of paraphernalia and disorderly conduct. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Special Deputy Brandon Eads was the arresting officer. 

July 24, 10:50 p.m., Braden Philip David Priehs, 18, Terre Haute, was arrested on a preliminary charge of false informing. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Linton Police Department Officer Janzen Franklin was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
