Daniel D. Evol, 72, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 10:15 pm Thursday, January 16, 2025 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital at Terre Haute, IN.

He was born May 26, 1952 in Clinton, IN to Dandy Dale Evol and Mary (Payton) Evol.

Survivors include his wife 50 years, Linda J. (Delany) Evol of Jasonville, IN who he married on June 30, 1974; children, Sharon L Rose (Rodney) of Jasonville, IN, Danny D. Evol (Brooke) of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Samantha Rose, Dalton Evol, Gavin Evol, Ethan Evol, Hannah Evol; sisters, Kathy Nicotra-Duffy (Peter) of Nashville, IN, Cindy Millison (Dan) of Wauconda, IL, Jane Evol of Vero Beach, FL, Teresa Evol of St. Bernice, IN, Lynn Bowman (Kevin) of Macks Creek, MO, Amy Smith of Clinton, IN; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughters, Jeana Marie Rose and Arielle Zion Evol, brother, Gary Evol.

Daniel graduated from Wauconda High School in Wauconda, IL. He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, he loved taking his grandchildren out and teaching them how to fish. He was a member of the Painters Union for over 40 years. Daniel was a US Army Veteran and a member of Jasonville American Legion Post# 172 and Jasonville Masonic Lodge #530 F&AM.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. In keeping with Daniel’s wishes, cremation is scheduled with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
