Carole Lee Brewer, 82, of Linton, Indiana, passed from this life, with her daughter by her side, on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born on April 24, 1942 in Linton to Fred E. and Betty E. (Jerrels) Tincher. Carole married the love of her life, Jackie L. Brewer, on June 14, 1957.

Carole was a member of the American Legion Post #22 Ladies’ Auxiliary. She enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her home and family.

Family left to cherish the memories of Carole include: one daughter, Debbie (Joe) Whitehead of Linton; four grandchildren, Lisa Dyer and AJ (Ashley) Dyer, both of Linton, Marissa Whitehead of Redkey, IN, Tabitha (Kylee) Barnes, of Linton; great-grandchildren, Dylan (Brianna) Morris, Aubrey Davenport, Kyndra Smith, Brodric and Bristol Dyer, Trey Jackson and Cooper Lumm and Elias Willoughby; great-great-grandson, Andrew Scott Morris.

Carole was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Jackie Brewer; one infant daughter, Lisa D. Brewer; sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Joe Mattox.

A memorial service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton. Carole will be laid to rest in Stafford Cemetery in Sandborn at a later date.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Greene County Humane Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
