New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, June 25, 2024:

June 24, 11:07 AM, Jeramy Jason Walls, 45, Jasonville, was arrested on a warrant for a probation violation. No bond was allowed. 

June 24, 12:57 PM, Daniel Lee Sturgeon, 39, was arrested on a warrant for intimidation. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Zach Mead was the arresting officer.

June 24, 12:58 PM, Jason Keith Scott, 44, homeless, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Special Deputy Ted Holley was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
