New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, April 1, 2024:

March 28, 10:47 AM, Edward Dwane Beegle, 54, Coalmont, was arrested on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Adam Adcock was the arresting officer. 

March 28, 4:29 PM, Jacob Frank Dexter Hasler, 41, Newberry, was arrested on a warrant for invasion of privacy. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Travis Hasler was the arresting officer. 

March 28, 9:55 PM, Kaleb James King, 24, Coalmont, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated – endangerment, resisting law enforcement using a vehicle, and reckless driving. His bond was set at $8,500 surety with 10% cash allowed. Jasonville Police Department Officer Skylar Scott was the arresting officer. 

March 28, 10:28 PM, Richard Irving Bacon, 62, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement using a vehicle and operating a vehicle while intoxicated – endangerment. His bond was set at $8,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released the following day after posting $800. Worthington Town Marshal Jacob Gambill was the arresting officer. 

March 30, 12:40 AM, Gordon Keith Michael, 54, Spencer, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of a controlled substance, disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia, and interfering with public safety. His bond was set at $2,500 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released the same day after posting $250. Worthington Town Marshal Jacob Gambill was the arresting officer. 

March 31, 12:31 AM, Elisa Dionne Thomas, 45, Newberry, was arrested on preliminary charges of domestic battery. Her bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. She was released later the same day after posting $100. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Michael Stanley was the arresting officer. 

March 31, 10:22 PM, Matthew Phillip Pugh, 25, Carlisle, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving while suspended – conviction of a criminal offense. His bond was set at $8,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Anthony Weeks was the arresting officer. 

March 31, 10:34 PM, Randy Joe Nickle, 41, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia, possession of paraphernalia, marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia, and possession of paraphernalia. No bond was allowed. Linton Police Department Officer Jerrad Pirtle was the arresting officer.
