New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024:

Feb. 27, 9:14 PM, Kyle Matthew Reynolds, 27, Bloomington, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery and confinement. Bond was set at $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released the same day after posting $500. 

Feb. 27, 10:22 PM, Dalton John Wright, 21, Sullivan, was arrested on a warrant for theft, and theft when the value of property is at least $750 but less than $50,000. His bond was set at $10,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. 

Feb. 28, 2:51 AM, Jonathan Richard Rose, 28, Linton, was arrested for domestic battery with bodily injury to a pregnant family member and strangulation. His bond was set at $20,000 surety with $10 cash allowed. Linton Police Department Officer Mitchell Eberhardt was the arresting officer.

Feb. 28, 6:21 AM, Jason Eugene Brown, 43, was arrested on a warrant for theft. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
