New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, Feb. 26, 2024:

Feb. 23, 6:11 PM, Austin Cody Grizzard, 28, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of theft. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Linton Police Department Officer Alan Jackson was the arresting officer. 

Feb. 23, 7:05 PM, Lonnie Douglas Copper, 44, Bloomfield was arrested on a warrant for theft when the value of the property is at least $750 but less than $1,000. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Caleb Sipes was the arresting officer. 

Feb. 23, 7:21 PM, Casmeir Kate Sweet, 23, Indianapolis, was arrested on a warrant for driving while suspended with a prior suspension within 10 years. Her bond was set at $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. She was released later the same day after posting $500. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Travis Hasler was the arresting officer. 

Feb. 23, 10:26 PM, Jeffrey Allen Hughes, 49, Bloomfield was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated – endangerment and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released the following day after posting $400. Bloomfield Police Department Officer Ryan Montgomery was the arresting officer. 

Feb. 24, 12:27 PM, Brandon Curtis Jamison, 36, Solsberry was arrested on a warrant for battery resulting in moderate bodily injury. No bond was allowed. Linton Police Department Officer James Carpenter was the arresting officer. 

Feb. 25, 12:04 PM, Jerry Joe Deckard, Jr., was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, resisting law enforcement with two or more prior unrelated convictions, criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Zach Goad was the arresting officer. 

Feb. 25, 4:33 PM, Ryan Matthew Nicholson, 37, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant for driving while suspended with a prior conviction within 10 years, probation violation, and failure to appear. For the driving while suspended charge, his bond was set at $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed; however, on the other two charges, no bond is allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Jordan Allor was the arresting officer.
