New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2024:

Feb. 21. 1:21 PM, Brant Mason Boyd, homeless, 41, was arrested on preliminary charges of domestic battery and domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16 years old. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Harvey Holt was the arresting officer. 

Feb. 21, 3:06 PM, Christopher Lance Lindaver, 35, Bloomington was arrested on an out-of-county warrant for theft. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Jordan Allor was the arresting officer. 

Feb. 21, 3:26 PM, Tyler Wayne Cottrill, 19, Odon, was arrested on a warrant for battery committed with a deadly weapon, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, and pointing a firearm. His bond was set at $18,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released later the same day after posting $1,800. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Adam Adcock was the arresting officer. 

Feb. 21, 4:50 PM, Billy Jean Mitchell, 49, Jasonville, was arrested on a warrant for four counts of child molesting when the defendant is at least 21 years of age, four counts of child molesting-fondeling or touching with a child less than 14 years of age, contempt of court, and child support purge. On the child molesting charges, his bond was set at $220,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. For the child support charge, his bond was set at $200 surety only. 

Feb. 21 9:08 PM, Norman Erin Henry, 60, Bloomfield, was arrested on preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement using a vehicle and domestic battery. His bond was set at $2,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Bloomfield Police Department Officer Ryan Montgomery was the arresting officer. 

Feb. 22, 7:53 AM, Rex Adam Nichols, 46, Bloomington, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery, intimidation, criminal recklessness, and driving while suspended with a prior suspension within 10 years. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Devan Goad was the arresting officer.
