New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, March 29, 2023:

March 28, 2023, 5:19 PM, Jeremiah Daniel Roby 27, Bloomington, Indiana, was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony resisting law enforcement using a vehicle and misdemeanor resisting law enforcement and possession of a controlled substance. He was being held without bond pending court appearance. He is also being held on two warrants Issued out of another county for probation violations in misdemeanor cases. In both those cases he is being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Sergeant Jordan Allor was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
