New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023:

Dec. 6, 3:46 PM, Michael Passacantando, 83, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of theft. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $100. Linton Police Department Officer Nathaniel Kilgore was the arresting officer.

Dec. 6, 7:09 PM, Gregory Robert William Barnes, 22, Linton, was arrested on two warrants for theft. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed for each charge. Bloomfield Police Department Officer Ryan Montgomery was the arresting officer.

Dec. 7, 7:05 AM, Lisa Jo Welding, 51, Bloomington, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia, and possession of paraphernalia. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Andrew Shelton was the arresting officer.
