Nolan "Jack" Jean Wilson
/Nolan "Jack" Jean Wilson, 89, of Linton, IN passed away March 31, 2025 at his residence.
He was born October 10, 1935 to Oleka Wilson Conger.
Jack married Mildred “Midge” Wilson on March 7, 1958.
Survivors include his children, Bridget (Jeff) Blanton of Linton, IN, Kallie (Todd) Rehmel of Linton, IN, Nolan G. (Candy) Wilson of Linton, IN; grandchildren, Tina Disney, Tracy (Kitric) Hudson, Kenny (Tiffany) Diehl, Stephanie (Mark) Diehl, Tashia (John) Fultz, Ashley Rehmel, Tyler (Brandi) Monroe, William (Kattie) Monroe, Darion (Adam) Jackson, Noah (Kaitlynne) Wilson; great-grandchildren, Brogan, Alyssa, Zoe, Nathan, Xavier, Katie, Alexa, Teagan, Kelsey, Karleigh, Gage, Trenten, Collin, Keegan, Kayden, Trenton, Alex, EmmaLee, Lincoln, Harrison, Lexine, Jeremiah, Oaklynne; great-great-grandson, Stetson; brother, Nilan “Buck” (Ruth) Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife and his mother.
Jack Graduated from Midland High School Class of 1955. Jack was a “Jack of All Trades”. He was one of the founders of the Wright Township Fire Department in 1979 and was the only founding member left. He was associated with many organizations including the Ellis Water Department, LEPC, Lebanon Cemetery Board, IVFA, Greene County Firefighters Association, PACE, and Wright Township Advisory Board. Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 P.M. Friday, April 4, 2025 at the Wright Township Fire Department, 6764 N State Road 59, Jasonville, IN 47438, with an IVFA Memorial Service at 7 P.M. Visitation 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Lawton Street Christian Church Fellowship Hall, 315 South Lawton Street, Jasonville, IN 47438 with Services immediately following at 1 P.M. with Pastor Darren Sluder and Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN.
