The Worthington Police Department has been providing assistance in a joint investigation conducted by the Indiana State Police and Kentucky State Police that resulted in the arrest of a Worthington man accused of felony child molestation, child seduction and rape. The suspect is currently behind bars ar the Greene County Jail.

Read MoreDuring the late hours of December 23, Beech Creek Township Fire Department was dispatched to a fully engulfed structure fire on Pate Lane in the Solsberry area. Beech Creek was assisted by the Center Township Fire Department, Clay Township Fire Department, Greene County Ambulance Service, Greene County Sheriff’s Department and the Greene County Coroners office. The fire claimed the life of one subject. The fire is under investigation at this time with the State Fire Marshalls Office. The name of the deceased was not released.
