Read MoreGREENE COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure on State Road 67 just north of Switz City. Beginning on or around June 13, State Road 67 will be closed to allow for seal coat operations. This closure will take place beginning at the intersection of SR 67 and SR 54. Crews will perform seal coat operations north on SR 67 to the US 231 intersection. Seal coat work is expected to be completed by the end of June, depending on weather conditions. The official detour for motorists is State Road 54 to US 231.

Jack E. Fulford, 86, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Glenburn Home in Linton. Born at home in Worthington on February 5, 1939, at 9:45 a.m., Jack was the son of Garrett and Sylvia (Beale) Fulford. A lifelong resident of Worthington, he was proud of his small-town roots and the community that shaped him.
