BeWellIndiana provides free mental health and other resources during COVID-19

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration today launched a new website, BeWellIndiana.org, that will provide Hoosiers with free mental health resources that have been vetted by experts. The site is designed to address the increase in anxiety, depression and other mental health issues caused by the pandemic, including both first-time issues as well as preexisting mental health concerns.

Indianapolis, Ind. - It was with great sadness, leadership at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility (WVCF) reported that on Saturday, April 25, Correctional Officer Gary Weinke, 67 succumbed to complications of COVID-19. This was the first death of a state correctional officer as a result of contracting COIVD-19. Officer Weinke was a resident of Greene County.
