New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026:

Aug. 17, 11:40 a.m., Billy Donald Williams, 21, Linton, was arrested on a warrant for intimidation and domestic battery with bodily injury to a pregnant family member. No bond was allowed. 

Aug. 17, 4:33 p.m., Austin Michael Kirkley, 28, Linton, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16 years old, strangulation, and sexual battery. No bond was allowed. 

Aug. 17, 6:08 p.m., Pablito A. Arellano-Andrade, 34, Bloomington, was arrested on a preliminary charge of theft. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $100.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
