Election 2022 BRIEF Update on Feb. 7: Filing window has now closed, final list of candidates to be posted asap

Due to the impact of last week’s winter storm, the filing deadline was extended to noon today / Monday, February 7. Now that the deadline has passed and the filing window has closed, GreeneStreets is at work to post the final list of candidates as soon as possible.

According to Amanda Lewellyn of the Voter Registration Office, here are the offices that will be on the ballot this year:

  • Assessor

  • Auditor

  • Clerk

  • Recorder

  • Commissioner, District 3

  • Coroner

  • Prosecutor

  • County Council Member, District 1

  • County Council Member, District 2

  • County Council Member, District 3

  • County Council Member, District 4

  • Sheriff

  • Township Trustees

  • Township Advisory Boards

  • Precinct Committeeman – Democrats only

  • State Delegates – in Primary Election only

  • Democrats – six seats, at-large

  • Republicans – 11 seats, at-large

School Boards – in General Election only, not in Primary Election… Note: The filing window for school boards is different - it runs from July 27 – August 26

  • Bloomfield School Board

    • District 1, Richland – two seats

    • District 2, Highland – one seat

    • District 3, Taylor – one seat

  • Eastern School Board

    • Beech Creek – one seat

    • Center – one seat
