Evelyn Lorene Crane

Evelyn Lorene Crane, 86, of Switz City, Indiana passed away Sunday April 13, 2025 at Glenburn Home in Linton.

Born November 25, 1938 in Bloomfield, Indiana the daughter of Granville Pearson and Alta (Frye) Pearson Bough.

Evelyn was retired from Boston Scientific, she also worked for Keller/Sun Beam in Linton; she was a member of the Assembly of Christ Church in Bloomfield.

Surviving relatives include her two sons, Stephen (Debbie) Crane, Randal Crane, one daughter, Patty (Steve) Farris, 2 grandsons, Josh (Paula) Crane, Tim (Chelsea) Farris and step-granddaughter, Carrie Gilreath, five great granddaughters, four great grandsons, eight great-great grandchildren, one half-brother, Ronald (Faith) Watson, and one sister-in-law, Millie (Pearson) Pruett.

Evelyn was preceded in death by two grandson, Stephen Crane, Jr; Patrick Crane, one brother, Donald Pearson, one step-sister, Linda Starling, her step-father, David Bough, daughter-in-law, Kathy Crane, step-brother Gary Bough and her parents.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 P.M. on Friday April 18, at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday April 19, at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Brother Carl Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Worthington Cemetery.

The family ask any memorial donations in Evelyn’s name be given to the Assembly of Christ Church in Bloomfield or the Greene County Humane Society.
