New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, April 23, 2025:

April 22, 3:10 p.m., Jeffery Michael Smith, 54, Linton, was arrested on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine and possession of a legend drug or precursor. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Harvey Holt was the arresting officer. 

April 22, 6:47 p.m., Julia Chavez Miller, 42, Worthington, was arrested on a warrant for neglect of a dependent. Her bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Indiana State Police Trooper K. Austin Fowler was the arresting officer. 

April 22, 6:50 p.m., Brandon Lee Miller, 39, Worthington, was arrested on a warrant for neglect of a dependent. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $400. Indiana State Trooper Robert Martin was the arresting officer.
