Donald "Don" R. Collenbaugh

Donald "Don" R. Collenbaugh, age 83, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 7:01 am on Friday, September 29, 2023, at Glenburn Home in Linton. He was born in Worthington on April 13, 1940, the son of Ray & Gladys (Thatcher) Collenbaugh.

He was a proud farmer throughout his whole life. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and the White River Valley Antique Association. He enjoyed attending antique tractor shows with his beloved wife and was an avid antique collector of several items over the years. He loved tractor pulling where he was one of the top competitors in the 70's and 80's with the Indiana State Tractor Pullers Association.

Don is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Anita Collenbaugh and sisters, Marjorie Zurcher, Joann Yegerlehner and Sue Borders.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. Burial will follow at Pleasant Bethel Cemetery in Owen County.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, October 2, 2023 from 5:00-8:00 pm, and on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of service.

Don's friends and family would like to thank all of the staff at Glenburn Home for the wonderful care they showed to him.

Kermit “Bud” Rodney Wilcox

Kermit “Bud” Rodney Wilcox, age 79, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 6:21 am on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville. He was born in Linton, IN on November 17, 1943, the son of Kermit & Delores Willidean (Haldeman) Wilcox.

He was a graduate of Worthington Jefferson High School. He loved hunting with his buddies and spending time with his family. He was a Vietnam Veteran for the United States Army and was Commander of the Worthington VFW for several years.

Bud is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Phyllis (Hayden) Wilcox of Worthington; daughter, Amy (James) Teague of Spencer; grandchildren, Justin Teague and Madison Teague; brother, Johnnie (Sue) Wilcox; sister, Emma Lou Tourangeau as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patricia Sorrells.

Graveside service will be held at Worthington Cemetery in Worthington at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 with Brad Duncan officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington.
