Sandra K. (Kail) Stafford, age 74, of Bicknell, formerly of Worthington, passed away peacefully at her residence at 8:18 P.M. on Monday, December 5, 2022. She was born on July 22, 1948, the daughter of Clyde and Geneva (Pigg) Bowles.

Sandra was a 1966 graduate of Madison Heights High School. She retired from NSWC Crane where she worked in Data Processing. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

She is survived by a son, Jeff (Dawn) Kail of Linton; a daughter, Markelle (Butchy) O’Conner of Bicknell; a step-son, Jeremy Stafford of Anderson; seven grandchildren, Tayler Kail, Sydney Wittmann, Brooke Freeman, Bailey Kail, Savannah McCloud, Jack McCloud, and Trey McCloud; and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harlon Stafford; a son, Jacob Kail; and a sister, Betty Riddle.

Visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington on Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 2-6 P.M.

Service will be held at Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson, Indiana on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 1:00 P.M.
